Card Overlays

Our first range of Card Overlays and Card packs are nearly ready to be uploaded to our website.... and we are excited as we spent a few nights over the weekend creating these... We couldn't believe how easy they were and how each of us interpreted the overlay design differently.

The range of Overlays will grow into some beautiful options and of course they will all be in Bazzill.... but wait there's more.....

Back again...

Well hello everyone - I'm terribly sorry about the lack of posts but its been an incredibly tumultuous time here...

Firstly, it was getting a bit overwhelming at the Barn with our staff shortages... I missed Rach from the moment she left to go overseas for her trip which had been planned before she agreed to start working with me. I became a little unwell the next weekend as did my other good friend Lyn. Her horse also became unwell.... (no connection by the way!!) Then the next week Lyns' horse became even sicker with another problem and sadly had to be put down. That night I dreamt all night about this poor horse and what I witnessed while it was so distressed as well as poor Lyn as she loves her horses as if they are her children... as a result I slept in the next morning and as I rushed to the shower (as I wanted to get to Lyn's to help console her) I missed one of the two steps in my kitchen and came tumbling down. The end result was I laid there for some time (noone was home) until an ambulance came.... taken to hospital and treated rather ordinarily and sent home in great pain...the following morning I was taken to another hospital where they helped me to no end... and allowed me to return home with equipment and sufficient pain killers to allow me to function to some degree.

When I returned home later that day I received a phone call from a very dear friend who I've met through my business and was devastated to hear her husband had passed away the night before in farm accident.... This beautiful lady has 7 children - 6 of which are all school aged with the youngest being five. Her relationship with her husband was a beautiful one, their love for eachother was obvious through her scrapbooking and how she spoke of him, which just makes this so much more unbearable for her.

So Rach returned from China on the Monday (I was devastated my pain stopped me from meeting her at the airport with Lyn) and on Wednesday she drove me to the funeral - some two hours away.

The night before the funeral we put out a call to as many Friends of Remember When we could get email addresses for and asked whether they'd like to put a fund together so we could buy some essentials and some not so essentials for Deb and her family. Knowing the person Deb is she will be surrounded by wonderful people for sometime and we thought just having some of these groceries on hand may take a little pressure off... you wouldn't believe the response - the next day we spent $600 on groceries and there is more to come.... We couldn't fit more in the car!

Thankfully Jude met us in Traralgon to help us load it all in the car as I wasn't able to lift much at all....

So while its been an incredibly hard few weeks its' just so encouraging to know there are so many wonderful people out there willing to be there for others - most of these ladies had not met Deb in real life.... it truly is a wonderful world (most of the time)...
